ound at XTANT 2026 — the Mediterranean's Finest heirloom textiles Fair

This May, ound travelled to Mallorca to take part in XTANT 2026 for the first time - a gathering dedicated to artisan culture, slow luxury and the beauty of things made by hand.

Founded by Kavita Parmar and developed alongside an incredible network of collaborators and volunteers, XTANT was created with the aim of bringing a new vision to a very old craft: heritage textiles. The festival understands textiles as a language - one that existed long before words, carrying stories of identity, culture, memory and belonging through cloth, technique and material.

Now in its seventh edition, the festival has become an international reference for contemporary makers working through conscious creation, as well as a meeting point for a craft-based fashion and design culture: one rooted in tradition, community, and shared cultures.

Held across historic buildings, courtyards and castles in Mallorca, this year’s edition brought together 87 artists from 38 countries, alongside exhibitions, talks, performances and textile installations supported by organisations such as the Lov Foundation

Across several days, we presented ound’s collections alongside incredible and inspiring makers, such as Andrea Viêntëc, Atelier Vetra, Atelier V.O, and so many others, whose practices are equally grounded in slowness, material knowledge and care.

More than a festival, XTANT became a space for exchange - conversations around textiles, sustainability, artisanal luxury and the value of human hands in a world moving increasingly fast.

Part of the collection we presented in Mallorca is now available online, including botanical dyed silk pieces in avocado blush, onion gold and earthy botanical tones, alongside timeless garments made from antique fabrics and undyed wool.
