A note of gratitude - a yearly collaboration with @ahistoryofarchitecture

Supporting Centro Mar de Fueguitos: A Small Gesture with a Big Heart

As the season invites us to slow down and reflect, we want to share something meaningful we are working on behind the scenes.

For the third year, we’re joining forces with Erica (@ahistoryofarchitecture) to support a project deeply connected to our values. Our gratitude is rooted in the people, places, and communities that shape our work — and with it comes the responsibility to give back in ways that feel real and tangible.

This year, our focus is Centro Mar de Fueguitos, a children’s home in Rocha, Uruguay — a place close to us both geographically and emotionally.

The home offers safety, care, and stability to 38 children who need a supportive environment to grow and thrive. Together, we’re raising funds to install a sunshade for their garden, creating a cooler and more comfortable space for the kids to play, learn, and spend their afternoons during the hot Uruguayan summer.

At the studio, our team is also crafting handmade fabric toys for the children, made from leftover textiles — a simple way of transforming what we have into something joyful.

If you’d like to support the project, 15% of your purchase will go directly to the children’s home when you use the code “MAR” at checkout.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute, for the community that surrounds us, and for the chance to make even a small difference.

Thank you for being part of this — you make projects like this possible.
